Help
Download files
You need the PDF reader to open the PDF documents offered. You can download this program for free on the following page:
Not all of the documents offered for download are barrier-free. Many documents are old documents where the source document is no longer available. These documents will not be subsequently revised.
We have set ourselves the goal of offering barrier-free PDF files as far as possible and expediently in the future, or of posting the content in HTML format.
You can tell whether a document is already barrier-free by the fact that the download is provided with the information "File is barrier-free/low-barrier".
If you need content from older documents in a form that is accessible to you, please contact us using the contact form. We will try to make the content available to you in an alternative way as far as possible.
Navigation options
The pages are structured uniformly, the navigation and the content are divided into separate areas.
Right at the beginning of the pages there are hidden jump links that allow you to jump directly to the content, the main menu or the search.
In addition, the sitemap gives an overview of which topics and subtopics are offered.
Font size
You can change the font size of our offer via your browser. In Internet Explorer this can be done via the 'View' menu, sub-item 'Font size'. In Firefox you can change the font size via the 'View' menu, 'Font size' sub-item, 'Enlarge' or 'Reduce'.
Search
We offer two search functions on our website:
The simple search and an advanced search.
The simple search is arranged in the left area below the navigation area. You can enter one or more terms directly in the "Search term" field. The search result is displayed in a new window.
With the advanced search you have additional search or sorting options:
- Sorting of search results by relevance or by date
Limitation of the search result
- to a specific document type, e.g. you can search for people, job offers or for simple standard article
- on a given topic.
By default, results with all entered search terms are displayed. The word OR between the search terms expands the search to include hits that only contain part of the search terms. Wildcards such as (*) for any sequence of letters and (?) for a single letter are also permitted in the search. The tilde symbol (~) at the end of a single word allows a fuzzy search to be performed.
Print function
The content of the website is optimized for a print edition.
If JavaScript is enabled, there is a "Print Page" button at the bottom of the page. When you click the button, the print dialog opens in a new window.
If JavaScript is deactivated, you can access this dialog box via the 'File' menu, sub-item 'Print' (or via the key combination <Ctrl>+ <P>.
